Not To Toot My Own Horn Or Anything.... But... Toot Toot

So this was my creative project of the day...

It only took me a couple hours (and probably could have been much faster if I hadn't been interrupted... multiple times... but whatever). I found the pattern HERE. I used a scrap 1/2 yard of funky Roy Rogers fabric I was compelled to buy several years ago and a scrap ribbon. I didn't actually measure anything. It was really, really, simple. And I feel quite accomplished and proud of myself.

Love love love this skirt. That is the hippest, most cool skirt in the world. I totally want one.

Still at inlaws...sneaking away for a second.

AWESOME!!!!!!!

GREAT JOB!!!

I have been working on 2 Tinkerbell quilts for my niece's for Christmas. Their MOM, my sister, said I couldn't buy them anything and technically I am not. :)

SUPER CUTE! Have you made that Russian Doll tooth fairy pillow from the website your ecommended? That is on my list of things to make next. This is one of those moments I wish I had a girl to make things for, so many more options!

Thanks everyone!

Supermom,
Good luck with the quilts!

Michelle S,
Isn't that the cutest little doll ever?!! I've debated making it... but Kid already has one (mine). But they also sell fabric and they have a Russian doll fabric and I'm going to get it and make some skirts with it!

Love that skirt!! It looks so cute, and also looks like it'll fit for a while too (lengthwise and with an elastic waist). And the fabric is perfect!!!

Awesome! I'm jealous of your multiple talents! :)

Mrs. F, you're inspiring me to make something too! There's no way it's going to be as cute as that skirt though. The Russian doll skirt would make a great Christmas gift for kid/baby.

Wow. It's really neat! I can tell that Kid loves it! :)

Freaking awesome. Are you available for hire?

When I first saw these pictures I thought Kid's stomach was yours and was very very jealous. :)

BTW, my weight is still stagnating. So discouraging.

on a weight note, since we're sharing, Being sick has definitely helped me out! Sadly this means it'll all be back on in a week or two I fear!

I guess I just need to continue eating soup twice a day? That always leaves me feeling malnourished after awhile!

I do totally sometimes have phases where I only eat mushy warm food. It's a winter phase. Not always good for the weightloss as many yummy mushy things are CREAMY.

Ok, now I'm totally just procrastinaing.

I'll be back... I'm still crafting!

Elizabeth,
I have not found a way to get post sickness weight loss to stay... there is just no way to replicate an actual disinterest in food.

mmmm... creamy...

Heather,
Please... you've seen my stomach! It would take a hell of a lot of plastic surgery to get it to look like Kid's!!!

Marie,
Yes I made the waist fit but loose enough that it won't get tight anytime soon. In fact I can technically wear it (it looks ridiculous but still).

Danielle,
don't be... I really don't know much... it is a testament to how easy these projects are!

P/F,
My thoughts exactly ;)

Dana,
She does love it and has worn it all day today too. Not all my projects have worked out that way... I've got several things I've made that she refused to ever wear!
