I love daylight savings time. In fact, I propose we never go back.

This whole time change thing sucks when you have kids. They don't get it.

It's just not Fair.

Do you hate daylight savings time, or do you hate the time change? Because, like Chris, I think we should keep it this way.

Chris & John,
Well we at the Furious house are not morning people... so I'd rather stay on Standard time.

Torey,
Kid was exhausted this morning.

Kiki,
We would have felt that way yesterday but we didn't know the time changed until dinner time!

Oh my! Did you read the "assult on logic" under the 'controversy' cloud?

"At the back of the Daylight Savings scheme, I detect the bony blue-fingered hand of Puritanism"

Hilarious!

For years I've been saying, spring forward and then leave it the hell alone and lets all be done with it...

DST+Kids= never ending whining and crankiness from both kids and parents. I cant stand it!

Elizabeth,
Oh you know I did... hilarious

Shirls,
I don't care forward or back but let's just pick one and be done with it. Both changes really mess with me.

Andrea,
I feel ya

I am totally a morning person, that's why I hate this extended *dark morning* time change. What happened to my hopes of having an early morning run before husband goes to work? If I liked running in the dark it would be awesome, but this time change is THE worst.

The whole time chenge thing especially sucks when you don't know it's coming...

We didn't realize until late yesterday when Mrs F noticed the clock on her laptop changed...

"Is today Daylight Savings Time?"

Me: "No, that's at the END of March. Lemme check my phone."

Me [moments later]: "Crap."

Of course losing an hour didnt keep the beatniks next door from enjoying the warm weather until 1:00 a.m. totally keeping up Kid, who then had to get up an hour earlier than normal.

DST sucks.

I agree....DST does indeed suck...although it is nice to get extra daylight to play outside longer at the end of the day I'm so not a morning person...good thing my son didn't start Kindergarten this year or I'd really be hating it...I need all the sleep I can get so losing an hour is hell for me!

I used to love DST before I had kids. Hubby and I would walk the dogs at 10pm in the middle of summer and enjoy that perfect Goldilocks time of day when it's not too hot and not too cold. I am not a morning person, so I've been screwed ever since I had kids, and now I can't even enjoy 10pm walks, because you're not "supposed" to leave your kids unattended in the house. Bah. RUINED!
