Kiki, I got it in Park Slope. There was a weekend flea market at the public school and there was an older middle aged man who sold his *rough* paintings. I can't remember if they are all stories but mine is. It's a story of an attempted breakout of a mental hospital... for some reason I remember this one as being autobiographical. Sometimes I see something and I need to have it... this is one of those things.
I completely get that, and I think that art is so personal and subjective...it hits everyone differently...but that piece definitely struck me, and I only saw a protion of it. Its really great! Thanks for the backstory.

Okay, the Christmas looks great but the folk art...amazing!!! I might be coveting that piece, what's the story and can we see the full pic??
