I Didn't Just Say That

"If you just hit her back you are going to be in trouble!" I yell up at Kid from the basement.

Then add...

"She's a baby... You're a grownup!"

It's been crazy. I can't figure out what caused them. I did the whole benadryl and circle the spots thing to track them. This is not the first time this has happened ;)

I wouldn't doubt that the stress is getting to her, too.

It can do that. Used to happen to me when I was very small. It is a symptom of anxiety. She probably understands exactly what is going on and is feeling apprehensive about it, as she is settled.

Poor thing. I will be searching the net and hopefully I will find something you can do to help it.

Give her a baby hug for me. :(

Hives treatment by using calamine lotion

By applying this lotion it can grant you relief from the itchy feeling.
Hives treatment by using milk of magnesia

By dabbing milk of magnesia on the lesions, provides some relief. As milk of magnesia is an alkaline solution it helps in removing the irritating itchy sensation.
Hives treatment by using herbal tea

Calming our nerves is one of the important things to do, as stress makes the matter worse. Drinking peppermint or passionflower tea is very good. You can also try chamomile, valerian and catnip which also soothe your nerves.
Hives treatment by using cornstarch

To stop the itching get 1/2 a tub filled with warm water, add 1/2 cup cornstarch and 1/2 cup baking soda. Soaking yourself at least once a day can make a lot of difference.

hey great info. for the hives Ive not looked up how to help ease these as Caleb breaks out alot he is allergic to eggs, wheat, milk, soy and corn and this stuff is in everything so sometimes people just dont understand and still give your kid something without reading the label assuming well its made for kids so its ok not. So Im glad to have this little bit of info.

Thanks inkelywinkely!

Andrea,
Oh I'm sorry to hear about Caleb. Kid was also allergic to soy, wheat, diary, & eggs. She outgrew it around 3... I hope that happens for you guys too! I know it's hard.
