yes I live in Canada where the biggest joke is always the weather but honestly we don't get much snow where I live, we won't have any that actually sticks it out past a day until January, yes really... but our first predicted sprinkle of snow? Friday, yep Friday evening when all the kids will be out, costumes over snowsuits always sucked ;0)
oh, earliest I've seen snow? August 22, 1992, exactly one week after I got married, huge snow storm, lasted 5 mins and then it was back to +25 (77F) when you live in the foothills of the rockies you just never know what your going to get
We have major rain today, but no snow... though they say maybe a dusting tonight. As long as the weather is good for Halloween I'm okay with it. I really don't enjoy trick or treating in lousy conditions!
Shirls, I guess I'm not too surprised by that since you're out west. I'm pretty shocked it snowed here before it snowed in MI though... I guess that's some kind of mountain effect going on.
Julie, Trust me I'm SHOCKED. It hasn't even really been that cold.
Me, myself and I, I feel the same way. I actually woke Kid up so she could see it. I almost turned on the Christmas music (shh... don't tell) ;)
Angie, I was wondering when I'd get an update!
Vanessa, I don't mind... it reminds me of home.
Michelline, Yeah it really isn't that much colder... just cold enough I guess.
Gigs, It's supposed to get back up into the 60s on Halloween thankfully. A little snow I can handle but rain is the worst on Halloween.
I just posted about the snow too...I was carving a pumpkin with friends and one of them pointed it out. It reached blizzard conditions here for a few minutes.
Welcome to North Carolina - the wacky weather state....
I live in South Charlotte and have had it snow a blizzard in my backyard and nothing in my front yard.
I've called in to work to let them know I cannot get out of my driveway because of the ice and snow and my co-workers laugh at me and say "what snow???"
They think I make it up because I moved from Southern Ca to NC but and I hate the cold (although I love coats).
Wow - snow - and I was upset because it was 38 degrees here this morning in Myrtle Beach but now it's up to 55 - blue sky - sun shining - come on down!!!!
I should have added that I am a former art teacher - and was the head teacher for 2 yr. olds in a private nursery school for 8 yrs. - so you know I've seen it all!!! Though Kiki can pretty well match me with experience too!!!

Holy cow! We haven't even had snow yet up here in the Northeast!!
I am SOOOOOO jealous. I LOVE Christmas, which means I love the first snow...cause that means Christmas is coming!
We were supposed to have an inch this morning. Nope. Nada. Nothing. Bah Humbug. LOL
You got snow before us. he he he. :-)
Still preggers....
Wow. At least it's pretty? :)
Snow? Really? Wow. Of course, it was 40 degrees this morning in Jacksonville, so I can certainly believe it was snowing in NC.

Claire,
Only if I can leave the kids at home! ;)
Chrissy,
That's funny. That is kind of what happened here... some places had 2 inches... some none.
Out of Hand,
I can't get past the "friends" part...
I know I find friends to be bad cutting tools for pumpkins. ;-)
Elizabeth,
LOL
hey nice picture!
Are you heading back to MI for t'day?
You can drop those lovelies off here and go hang with Claire, I have all sorts of good crafties...we could play all day!!!
I miss snow ONLY in Dec. and Jan., after that I only want warm!!! But it sure does look pretty, postcard perfect!!!
Or vice versa - drop the kiddies with "the Nana" and go off with Kiki and have some fun!!!!

Kiki & Claire,
Don't you both really really want to relocate to Asheville?! ;)
No, I'm working Wednesday and Friday. Upside- I get more time for X-mas. Boss Lady and I are trading. It works out. You guys going up for Christmas?
oh, and thanks! I was jealous of everyone else's fun pictures. (I originally typed "Funk" instead of fun... completely different!)
Yeah we're going back at some point for Xmas... not sure what the dates are yet.
