Cease And Desist

I would like to make a note to the Connecticut readership that has suddenly flourished in the last few days...
Please stop reading my blog.
You are not invited to do so.
If you continue to visit the blog you are doing so against my wishes and are invading my privacy.
This is an anonymous blog that was not written as a "family blog". I am sorry if you were mislead.
It appears that you are not able to read the blog in the way in which is was meant to be read and for everyone's well being I request that you stop.

I am so sorry your privacy has been invaded. How awful for people to be essentially reading your diary.

I have said it before, and I will say it again. Thank you so much for this blog. As a SAHM to young children, it really makes me feel less lonely and part of a community. I am really amazed at the friendships I have made through the blogosphere, and I am sorry that you are experiencing such a downside to putting yourself out there.

Thanks guys.
It's really all I can do.

That horrible swalk comment was made by a family member! WTF?!?

Oh Mrs F, my heart breaks for you. I am so sorry that this shit is all going down.

We know you. We probably know the "real you" better than the relatives.

I agree (even though I don't actually have a blog still. Lame of me, yes.) that this is one the best things I have ever just happened upon. You have brought together such an amazing group of mostly women (there is Chris and Mr F, too:)) and I am grateful for that and for you. Love you Mrs F.

oh lordy. this is crazy. i am sorry you are dealing with this. this only confirms why i am under a hidden name. i would cave under the pressure you are under and a downward spiral would occur. hang in there.

Mrs. F -- I'm really sorry that this is happening. You have a great blog, and I read it all the time! You make me laugh, and I'm inspired by your dedication to your family. Don't listen to the hate mongers. I hope they go away for good. Keep blogging like you do.

oh, that just sucks all around! i live in fear that certain people are going to discover my personal blog--have you thought about making it (or certain posts maybe?) password protected? sadly, i think that once the stalkers start, they won't ever walk away.

Hi Mrs. F,
I am a young mother in California. And I love reading your blog. You are fantastic and hilarious! You will get through this, and I commend you for sticking up for yourself and your ideals.

I've tried to see what I can do... and I there isn't much between just blocking comments (when really I don't want them reading) and making it invite only. And with the number of readers I would want to invite that would be impossible.
They may very well still read but all I can do is set my boundary and then let it be what it will be.
We aren't close with this part of his family and he's ready to just cut the loss at this point.
They read the blog from an alien perspective and just don't get it. Obviously...

Rachel,
Thanks for commenting.
I like your name ;)

I've decided I'm not going to be bullied into censoring my blog. And certainly not when treated so disrespectfully. Nuts.

I seriously don't think they'll go away. Mainly cause you have this unbelieveable personality that draws people in. Look how many people read this blog. Even if they don't comment. Like me!

You are an amazing person Mrs.F and so is Mr.F. I enjoy watching you both on video. You can clearly see the love that you two have for one another. Every time you speak, he laughs. Its like you bring out the best in him and vice versa. I love it...

Don't sweat the family. Don't let them ruin or upset your time with Mr F on his birthday. If you let them see how upset they have made you over this...Thats exactly what they want. And I'm sure they are feeling pretty good right now, seeing you in all this pain. Don't give them that satisfaction.

I know its hard, but you must move on and continue blogging. :)

Hope kid is feeling better... Smile!

Well, crap... now you've gone and made me cry.

Your blog is inspiring and funny. There will always be people in the world who don't get you, and it's a shame some of them have to be such vocal a-holes about it. (Not even well-spoken a-holes, either, which sucks for us readers.)

I have a few other technical tricks if you want to give them a try. Let me know.

Deb,
I tried that last link but I can't figure out where to insert the code.
email me.

if you don't still have my "real" one.

So sorry this is happening to you. I didn't think it could get any worse, but it has. It boggles the mind. Who ARE these people? Do they even know who you are? I don't think they've taken the time to get to know you. I hope you don't have to change the format of your blog, but would certainly understand if you came to that decision. Keeping you in my thoughts. Blogging shouldn't have to be so filled with strife. You deserve better after being such a source of inspiration and humor to your readers

I'll drop you a line tonight or tomorrow, depending on how much down time I get, but I have a few ideas for you. Unfortunately, my own stiff-jawed weekend is upon me, as I await my mother's arrival tomorrow. It's as if her plane will be descending into a fog of my personal hell when it lands tomorrow.

I'm catching up on post and am horrified by this whole thing. I'm so proud of you for not censoring your blog. Yes, it's upsetting, but I'm really, really impressed with Mr. F's post and with your stance. And I thought you were a badass before...

It's amazing really. Most of the people in our families are people we would never choose to be friends with, let alone deal with if we weren't related to them. And then they think we need to live our lives to please them and their notions of right and wrong. Mrs. F, I think you've handled a very difficult situation very gracefully.

Maggie,
"You can clearly see the love that you two have for one another. Every time you speak, he laughs. Its like you bring out the best in him and vice versa. "
Thank you for that comment. It is nice to know that people can see our connection. :)

Cindy,
thanks for the comment.
I really appreciate everyone's support.

Heather,
wow... shout out from Norway!! When this started going down I actually thought "jesus Heather is going to miss this!" ;)

Believe it or not the Cease and Desist order does seem to be working.

Well said.
And thank you... I'm sure you can imagine there are things I could have said and didn't ;)
